Yoga - Chair Qigong

Qigong (chee gung) is a Chinese practice dating back several thousand years ago. This practice, which is older than Tai Chi, tends to be gentler and involves fewer complex full body movements. Qigong incorporates slow rhythmic movements, meditation, and controlled breathing exercises to promote the body's natural healing ability. The movements are derived from observing nature. It can be done either seated or standing, a key benefit for many balance-challenged seniors.
